The theme of well-being ties in the strategic focus on Assessment – looking at workloads of students and trying to find ways to reduce this pressure on students around exam time. I will be using her Teaching Fellowship to develop my second book, exploring the differences between flourishing and languishing students, using questionnaire and focus groups with students from the School of Modern Languages at the University of Bristol.

The aims of the session were to examine the concept of mental health in higher education; to look at what makes a flourishing student and to provide the audience with practical tools for themselves and to help with their students.
